“Tails and Tales,” Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, was held Thursday, June 10 at the library. Stories were read to the participants, they did an ocean clean-up and made butterfly feeders. Squishy ocean animals were handed out as prizes and the winners of a book to take home were Trent Bohrer and Sophia Maghakian. Children are encouraged to read 10-30 minutes daily. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 17 at 2:00 and everyone is asked to come a little early to sign in and register for prizes.
