Oceans of Possibilities, Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, was held Thursday, June 2 at the library. Stories were read to the participants, a pearl diving relay was held and pearl key chains and paper plate seashells were made. Each child who read a book in the past week got to hang a fish on the line in the window. Sea life bouncy balls and Goldfish crackers were handed out as prizes. Eli Harwood, Lynnea Harwood, Kooper Snyder and Bray Gjellstad were the winners of books to take home. Children are encouraged to read 10-30 minutes daily as part of the program. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 9 at 2:00.
