Color Our World Summer Reading Program was held at the Stanley Public Library on Thursday, July 17. Additional book titles that were read by the participants were added to the paper chain. Stories were read and a paper and straw race was held. All participants created stained glass art pieces and played a string ball game. Color Our World wristbands, post-it notes and magic scratch art kits were handed out. Winners of books to take home were Amelia Hunt, Emy Karow, Mya Anderson and Parker Haugen. The last day of the program will be Thursday, July 24 from 1:00-2:30.

Color Our World Summer Reading Program
Color Our World Summer Reading Program was held Thursday, June 26 at the Stanley Public Library. A paper chain listing the titles of books that were read by the children was created and stories were read. This week’s activities featured fabric art and children created God’s eyes and woven bookmarks using yarn. Pens, pencil cases and snacks were handed out. Winners of books to take home were Dash Cossette, Ruby Evensvold, Hayes Gustafson and James Kuster. The next day of the program will be Thursday, July 17 at 1:00.
Color Our World Summer Reading Program
Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, Color Our World, was held on Thursday, June 19. Children recorded titles of books they had read onto papers to make a paper chain of book titles, and stories were read. The children created a picture using different colored and patterned triangles and played a color pattern race game. Older children created a painting of a sunrise, participated in a library scavenger hunt and played a color ball toss. Painting sheets, notepads and snacks were given to each participant. Book winners were Bowen Long, Livia Moore, Laynee Littlecreek and Bode Haugen. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 26 at 1:00 PM.

Summer Reading Program Registration
Registration for Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, “Color Our World,” was held on Thursday, May 29. After registration, children created their own personalized quilt squares, and received bookmarks, pencils, and tattoos. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 19 from 1-2 PM for children ages 5-7 and 2:30-3:30 PM for children ages 8-13. Anyone who was unable to attend the registration open house may register on June 19.
