During October, the Stanley Public Library held a Creepy Candy Contest. Students were invited to look at the giant Halloween bowl and guess the number of items it contained. Ace Johnson was the winner with a guess of 452, missing the exact number by only eleven. Congratulations to Ace and all who visited the library and entered.

The contest was sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The Stanley Public Library will be closed Friday, November 11 in observance of Veterans Day. The library will be open on Monday, November 14 at 12:30 PM.

There will be story time at the Stanley Public Library on Tuesday, October 11 at 2:30 PM for ages 3-6.

During the month of September, the Wee Care classes visited the Stanley Public Library. Students were given a tour of the library and had an opportunity to look at books, play with games and puzzles and listen to stories. They were given library souvenirs and treats to take home. It was a fun learning time for all!

The Stanley Public Library will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day. The library will be open Tuesday, September 6 at 12:30 PM.

Students in grades K-12 were reading rock stars during the month of August at the Stanley Public Library! The students checked out books, read them, filled out a rating sheet and returned them for an entry into the prize drawing.

Prize winners were Laney Jackson, Kai Anderson, Jessy Roise, Levi Addicott, Bode Haugen, Hugh Jackson, Omni Roise, Mya Anderson, Parker Haugen, Ruth Jackson, Greyson Addicott, Eva Anderson, Archer Jackson, Cambree Pitts and Amelia Jackson. The contest was sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
