Libby Update

Libby will be making updates to increase the security of patron data. After the updates are completed, all patrons will be required to log in to Libby again with your library card number and password. National Library Week Winners

The Stanley Public Library recently celebrated National Library Week with after-school activities and a door prize drawing for students who visited the library during the week.

LEGO Contest Winners

Stanley Public Library recently celebrated National Library Week with a LEGO building contest. Entrants built a character or scene from a book they read.

Winners in the 4-6 grades category were Axle Sandeen, first; and Jason Roses, second. Winners in the K-3 grades category were Bennett Sandeen, first; and Emmy Lonier, second.

Congratulations to all the entrants for their creative builds! The contest was sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

4th Grade Library Visit

On Friday, April 11, the fourth-grade classes of Mrs. Drosdahl, Mr. Hellman and Mr. LaBar visited the Stanley Public Library as part of National Library Week. The students were given a tour of the library, had an opportunity to purchase books and movies, and registered for prizes. The students left with library-themed souvenirs. Their visit concluded a successful National Library Week.

National Library Week

The Stanley Public Library will celebrate National Library Week April 7-11. This year’s theme is “Drawn to the Library.” Community members are invited to visit the library and explore all the things the library has to offer.

During National Library Week, children ages 4-18 who visit the library may register daily for prizes to be given away. There will be crafts and activities for students in grades K-12 from 3:34-4:45 each day. LEGO contest entries will be accepted until Thursday, April 10. The Friends of the Library will hold a used book and movie sale all week.
