Unearth a Story summer reading program was held Thursday, June 18 at the Stanley Public Library. Stories about dinosaurs were read and dinosaur facts were discussed. This week’s activities included a dinosaur bean bag toss, a dinosaur skeleton puzzle, a dinosaur egg race, dancing like dinosaurs, a dinosaur egg game, writing in dinosaur hieroglyphics, and an archeological excavation for artifacts. Book lights, dinosaur grabbers, and mini blocks T-Rex kits were handed out. Winners of books to take home were Ruby Evensvold, Emy Karow, Avery Jarmin, Tate Harwood, Bode Haugen, and Cade Schneider. The last day of the program will be Thursday, June 25 from 1:00-2:30 for both age groups.
