National Library Week

The Stanley Public Library will celebrate National Library Week April 8-12. The theme for this year is “Ready, set, library!” Libraries are trusted and treasured institutions which protect the right to education and literacy, and give patrons a place to connect and pursue their reading passions.

During National Library Week, children ages 4-18 who visit the library may register daily for prizes to be given away at the end of the week. There will be activities and crafts for students in grades K-12 from 3:45 to 4:45 each day. LEGO contest entries will be accepted until Friday, April 12. The Friends of the Library will hold a used book and movie sale and will be selling souvenir playing cards all week.
