Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, Color Our World, was held on Thursday, June 19. Children recorded titles of books they had read onto papers to make a paper chain of book titles, and stories were read. The children created a picture using different colored and patterned triangles and played a color pattern race game. Older children created a painting of a sunrise, participated in a library scavenger hunt and played a color ball toss. Painting sheets, notepads and snacks were given to each participant. Book winners were Bowen Long, Livia Moore, Laynee Littlecreek and Bode Haugen. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 26 at 1:00 PM.
