Adventure Begins at Your Library, Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, concluded on Thursday, June 27. Stories were read to the group, including a book on the German alphabet, read by Erika LIttlefield, who spent the last school year in Germany. Passports were then stamped for Germany and a suitcase was packed for the trip. The children were divided into groups to participate in Escape from the Library, a type of escape room event. Winners of books to take home were Amelia Hunt, Dash Cossette, Ida Weigel and Adeline Hunt. The grand prize winner of a Barnes & Noble gift card was Bode Haugen.
Winners of prizes donated by the Friends of the Library were Jaxton Cossette, Laynee Littlecreek, Levi Addicott, Parker Haugen, Karsyn Gustafson, Avery Jarmin, Alycia Laparra, Bode Haugen, Adeline Hunt, Greyson Addicott, Cade Schneider, Abrahm Wisthoff, Dash Cossette, Emmy Lonier, Cayson Ware, Maverick Lidstrom, James Kuster, Hayes Gustafson, Russell Williams, Malia Weigel, Amelia Hunt, Karter Kuster, Knute Roise, Arlo Cuypers, Gunnar Dazell, Carson Ploium, Ida Weigel, Omni Roise, Kali Casey and Noah Kuster.
The program was very successful with the help of several volunteers, including teen volunteers Alexis Laparra, Erika Littlefield, McKenzie Bohrer, Alycia Laparra and Peyton Lystad.
