The Friends of the Library sponsored “Blind Date with a Book” during the month of February at the Stanley Public Library. Patrons selected wrapped books from the display. The first line of the book was printed on the outside of the book. The books were returned with a “Rate Your Date” sheet, which entered the patrons in the drawing.

This year’s winner was Angela Olson. Angela’s blind date was “The Lies I Tell,” by Julie Clark, a domestic thriller which she rated three out of four hearts. Congratulations to Angela and all the patrons who took home a blind date!
