Stanley Public Library’s summer reading program, All Together Now, was held Thursday, June 15 at the library. A paper chain was created using titles of books the students read the past week. Stories were read to participants, and they broke into groups to make their own musical instruments. They then went on a language scavenger hunt where they learned to say “hello” in several different languages, with the older students assisting the younger ones. Plush stars and snacks were given out as prizes. Winners of a book to take home were Parker Haugen, Cade Schneider and Avonlea McCarten. The next day of the program will be Thursday, June 22 at 2:00.
