A LEGO building contest will be held at the Stanley Public Library April 12-26 for National Library Week. The contest is open to grades K-6. Students can build a character or scene from a book that they have read using LEGOs. No kits or instruction books may be used. Include a 3″ x 5″ index card with the grade and title of the book on the front of the card and the name on the back.
Entries can be dropped off at the library starting April 12. LEGO designs will be judged in two categories, grades K-3 and grades 4-6.
The contest is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
