A Shark Week activity day was held at the Stanley Public Library on Thursday, July 28. Story time was held for the younger children in the morning with an activity time for older children in the afternoon. Stories were read and the activities included coloring, making cool shark magnets, creating paper plate whale ornaments and making floating sharks.
The winners of the book drawing were Levi Addicott and Harper Gratton. Shark tooth erasers, jaws big bites bracelets, bubbles and pirate animal yoyos were handed out as prizes. Children are encouraged to read 10-30 minutes daily.
