The Stanley Public Library will celebrate National Library Week April 4-8. The theme for this year is “Connect With Your Library,” which promotes the idea that libraries are great places to get connected to technology and electronic resources as well as physical materials and programs.
During National Library Week, children ages 4-18 who visit the library may register daily for prizes and for grand prizes to be given away. There will be games and crafts for children in grades K-12 from 3:45 to 4:45 each day. The Friends of the Library will hold a used book and movies sale and will be selling souvenir library playing cards all week.
