The Friends of the Library sponsored “Blind Date with a Book” during the month of February at the Stanley Public Library. Patrons selected wrapped books from the display without knowing anything about the book. The books were returned with a “Rate Your Date” card, which entered the patrons in a drawing.

This year’s winner was Denise Ray. Denise’s blind date was “Westering Women,” a historical fiction novel by Sandra Dallas, which she rated four out of four hearts. Congratulations to Denise and to all patrons who took home a blind date!
