National Library Week

The Stanley Public Library will celebrate National Library Week April 5-9. The theme for this year is “Welcome to your library,” which promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building.

During these challenging times, libraries have been going above and beyond to adapt to our changing world. Stanley Public Library encourages all community members to visit their website to access a variety of online resources which are available, including Mango languages, Universal Class, Overdrive and more. Whether people visit the library virtually or in person, libraries foster a sense of belonging and community through learning and discovery.

Children who visit the library during National Library Week can pick up take-home activities and register to win prizes. There will be a book sale all week, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
