The Friends of the Library sponsored “Blind Date with a Book” during the month of February at the Stanley Public Library. Patrons selected wrapped books from the display without knowing anything about the book. The books were returned with a “Rate Your Date” cared, which entered the patrons in a drawing.

This year’s luck winner was Christina Mogren. Christina’s blind date was “The Pursuit of Lucy Banning,” an inspirational novel by Olivia Newport, which she rated three hearts out of four. Congratulations to Christina and to all patrons who took home a blind date!
