The Friends of the Library sponsored “Blind Date with a Book” during the month of February at the Stanley Public Library. Patrons selected a wrapped book from the display without knowing anything about the book. The books were returned with a “Rate Your Date” card, which entered the patrons in the drawing.
Gina Meduna was this year’s luck winner. Gina’s blind date was “The Noel Stranger,” a novel by Richard Paul Evans, which she rated three out of four hearts. Congratulations to Gina and to all patrons who took home a “blind date!”
